Melissa Gorrie is a lawyer and law reform manager with Ecojustice Canada. In this role, Melissa develops and advances transformative legislative and policy proposals that seek to address the root causes of the intertwined ecological and social justice crises we face. This includes work to advance a circular and well-being economy framework in so-called Canada. In addition to her role at Ecojustice, Melissa has founded and volunteered with many non-profit organizations seeking to advance environmental and social justice. Melissa also holds a Master of Laws degree focused on decolonizing settler environmental law.
