John Dillon
John Dillon was the coordinator of the Ecological Economy Program with Kairos Canada. He studied philosophy and theology at St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario before leaving his theological studies to work for the Canadian churches as a researcher on international trade and finance issues. Beginning in 1973 he worked for the GATT-Fly project which was later renamed the Ecumenical Coalition for Economic Justice, which became part of KAIROS. John has published several books and numerous reports on global justice issues, including global debt and finance, free trade agreements, and climate change.
The report describes how NAFTA limits Canada's options for managing its energy future and recommends options for regaining Canadian energy security and sovereignty.
