Donating is quick and easy through the University of Alberta's online “giving” page. But if you’d rather fill out a paper form, we’ve got you covered as well.
You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your gift with receipts mailed once a year in February for your donations from the previous tax year.

Giving Online
Click on “Donate Now” above. The screen will show “Parkland Institute Fund” as the recipient to your donation. Enter the amount you'd like to donate and click on “Add Gift.”
On the next screen, you’ll be asked if that amount would be for a one-time donation, a recurring donation, or an amount to be paid in installments.
- Choose “one-time” if you want to give the full amount today. For example, if you entered $100 in the “I would like to give” box, this is the total that will be charged from your credit card. Then come back another time to donate some more!
- Choose “recurring” if you want to donate that same amount—in our example, $100—every month or every year. The “recurring” option doesn’t have an end date; if later on you decide to stop your payments, just send us a message or give us a call, and we’ll remove it for you—nice and easy.
- Choose “installments” if you want to donate monthly but with an end date already established. In that case, the amount entered in step 1 will be divided by the number of months you indicate. If you entered $100 as the total amount and now select to give that in 5 installments, your card will be charged $20 for 5 months, and then your payments will stop automatically.
Made your choice? Now just hit ‘continue’ to enter your personal information and credit card number—then you’re all set!
